History

Watershed Pines Golden Retrievers was founded in 2016 with the breeding of two champion Golden Retrievers, call-named Jessie and Ranger, producing a litter of show-quality puppies that are also reliable, field-worthy hunting dogs and ideal family companions.

Morgan

Morgan Letzelter is the driving force behind Watershed Pines Golden Retrievers. Morgan is the primary handler of the dogs. She has spent years training and showing anything owners would throw at her. Her favorite sport is agility of which she has titled a few dogs. Morgan loves to take dogs into the ring with her, she feels that in the ring handler and dog form a special bond. Thanks to Jessie Morgan obtained her hunting license and they spent their first season together in the field during the fall of 2015. She was the founder of a dog training and boarding business, Obedience & Beyond, and has more than a decade of experience whelping and raising litters.  

Jamie

Jamie is the owner of Watershed Pines Golden Retrievers and Jessie's favorite human companion (when Morgan's not around).

Jamie is the brains of Watershed Pines; she keeps Morgan's "do-it-all" spirit grounded, because entering 3 shows in one day is not humanly possible. Jamie also takes the lead into the show ring on occasion. She earned the first obedience leg with Jessie. Mostly she likes to take the dogs to training classes and then cheer them on from ringside.
